What's New Birdies to Eagles

What is the Birdies to Eagles Program?

This mentorship initiative introduces girls and young women to golf by helping them develop a comfort level with the game and increasing their self-esteem and commitment to a healthier lifestyle with enhanced social opportunities offered through the sport of golf. The program is expanding through Georgetown University and City Swing, an indoor golf experience owned and operated by an African American woman.

The Georgetown University Women’s Golf Team are the mentoring Eagles, which is a phenomenal opportunity. The GU golf team, is led by Coach Kate. They are the mentors to the Birdies in our programs.
